Coach Portal User Manual

The Attendance Register is designed to be flexible. You can submit data for today or fix previous days.

  • To Start: Select a Squad and a Date.
  • Auto-Load: If you select a date that already has a register submitted, the system will automatically load the existing data. The button will turn Yellow to indicate you are in "Update Mode".
  • Making Changes: Click any name to toggle them Present (Blue) or Absent (White).
  • Saving: Click Update/Submit Register. This will overwrite the entry for that specific squad and date, ensuring no duplicate records are created.

You can log sessions for a single swimmer or the whole squad at once. We built several "Smart Validation" features to make typing faster:

⚡ Lazy Typing Mode

Don't waste time typing colons! Just type the digits:

  • Type 443 → System converts to 4:43.00
  • Type 105 → System converts to 1:05.00
  • Type 1023 → System converts to 10:23.00
  • DNF / DNS: Type d or dnf in any box to mark it as Did Not Finish. The box will turn red.
  • Auto-Estimating: If a swimmer misses a split, leave the box blank. The system will calculate the average of their other splits and mark the total with an (Est) tag.
  • Attendance Sync: Saving ANY session (Single, Squad, OCR, Live Timer) will now automatically log their attendance for that date, ensuring you don't have to duplicate your work!

Click the Noticeboard icon to broadcast messages to the Swimmer Portal.

You can target All Members, a specific Squad, or a single Swimmer. Your message will appear natively on their personal dashboard the next time they log in.
